Questions getting a ps3 for christmas

I really just need some suggestions for games so far I already choose these games to get

Warhawk(wanna play online can you guys tell me about the expansion packs)

GOW3(well you know y)

Resistance1 and2(60 people online should be fun)

MAG(nuf said)

MSG4(Is this online)

Uncharted(this had better be as good as people claim it to be

so far thats all i got I have a 360 and most of the multiplats I would play on 360.

Also I have been on the playstion website and I have heard complants about updates mainly 2.52 with disc drive errors, I will be getting a 80 gig model, would this happen to affect this model I really don't want to waste money $400 is a lot and I am saving it so I just wanna know if the updates will crash my system.

One more thing will a wirless n router be good enough for PS# about 40 feet away.

god of war 3 and mag are not comeing out this year... i dont think either game even has a release date... 

you can purchase the warhawk expansion packs through the playstaion store, they arent mandatory or expensive

on your game list, your're missing ratchet and clank.  

i've never had any update problems.

my router is probably 20 ft away, and in another room and it works fine...

Look at the game recommendation sticky ;) I suggest Little Big Planet though.

As for update 2.52 I had no problems with it.

And my router is 2 stories above in my bedroom while my PS3 is in the basement and I still get good connection.

Thanks guys I know MAG doesn't have a relase date but god of war is comin in oct of next year. COD sounds good I was gonna get it for 360 though.

I also wanna know about resistance2 is it fun I figured it would be but I want a owners opinion.

Outside of that do you guys think i should get it for those games or just forget the idea

do not get resistance 1 its a waste because by then there will be barely anyone playing it online and theres no point of playing story mode, r2 sums it all up in  2 mins and  imo i think warhawk is pretty bad i dont know why but i think it is
