Questions on Resistance: Fall of Man

I just picked up a new copy of R:FOM for $29.99, and am loving it so far. I bought it mostly to play multiplayer with my friends, since I missed the Timesplitter days. However, I do have questions.

1. I know there was a patch that enabled rumble. How do I get this? If it's of any importance, I'm downloading the free maps off the PSN right now.

2. It seems there's no bots in offline multiplayer?! Is this true?

1) the game should update once you put it in if you are connected to the internet

2)I do not know because I never played the first ones multiplayer. I borrowed it from a friend and gave it back as soon as I beat it.

Well, my copy didn't update, so I dunno what's going on.

And there better be bots, or the offline multiplayer's going to be... well, let's say 1 vs 1 capture the flag doesn't seem fun to me.

If you got the red case REsistance, it's the version that's already patched for rumble. And no, there are no pot options for multi-player, but the community is still pretty big.

Sadly, there are no bots in offline multiplayer, would be awesome if there were.

I got the used old version. So I can never get rumble? That sucks.

And no bots? That's a low blow. What's the point of all these great offline features if you can only play them with one other person? Doesn't make sense to me... sigh... I miss Timesplitters...

I have Killzone. Yes it does have bots, but no split-screen, and I need a game I can play together with my friends.
