if i have a wireless modem do i still have to connect the ethernet wire to the back of my ps3
Read the manual or this forum, PS3 hase Wi-Fi (wireless connection type) which means you can setup the PS3 to connect to your wireless modem....so there's no cable running between the modem and PS3.
