I try and read into a topic that might sound interesting here and there, and it never fails... someones complaining about blah blah. 2.4 sucks.. blah blah... i've waited so long...

i agree, personally i find that if you just dont hope for good things and they turn out like you hoped then your not dissapointed.

Im with you TC, there are way too many cry babies on the PS3 forums.

Just be happy things are improving, you can't get everything at once

What got us 2.4 in the first place?

Whining and complaining to sony. Now in no way do I condone complaining here, but you have to admit. If we dont speak up, sony n devs will just take longer.

Heck do you really think 2.4 wouldve been released this early? Ironically a year and half later.

Exactly! Im sick of the whining. So what, you cant play music and very few games have trophies at the moment.

1) STEREOS AND PCS WILL PLAY MUSIC. Use them and quit whining about not being able to listen to music in game.
2) Trophies dont mean anything! Same thing as achievements on my 360, which are utterly pointless.

You always have to have the whiners who want something and whine till they get it, then want more. Its annoying.

It came with everything I expected so I am happy. I am jst waiting on devs now. The funny thing is it is amazing how many people do not do their own research. They just go by word of mouth.

I was playing my usual round of online games Vegas 2, GTA4, COD4, NBA2k8, and now MGS4 and everyone was talking about how cool it was going to be to look at the trophies and listen to the music when the update comes out. And I had to be the bad mailman and tell them that we will not get to use those features until the devs patch it which may take a while.... and man they flammed me with all types of words. They called me a 360 fanboy(mind you I only have a PS3), they said I didnt know what I was talking about, they told me how Sony confirmed it, and I was getting kicked from games left and right.

But it is ok cause I still Love my PS3... I just wished people would READ!!!!!!!!!

Ohh what i really dont understand is the people here on this site... I mean Gamespot did an article telling you everything and how it will all work, but yet people on this site still have the nerve to say Sony lied to them...

If you want to get mad at anyone get mad a microsoft for that BS(brillant;)) Paton on in game music...

Sorry I guess it is kind of harsh in a way, but reguardless if it gets locked or not.. it needed to be said, at least once.

I know what you're saying.. and agree to an extent. However, constructive criticizm is different than whining. I believe Sony has had a release plan from the get-go from everything with timing on games, to the release of this patch well over a year ago.. Think about it? we're replaying games that are out, during the drought after mgs4. everyone needs to replay alot of these games.. thats good for developers. now we have something to hold us over til the wave of games come in the fall/winter. Look at the 360, they wowed, and have no weapons left... Sony gives and gives gradually.. and their plan works.. it's proven.. it's not even going to mature for another 1-1.5 years. i bet they know what will be released in patch 4.5 already ;) But whining, just shows that nothing is ever good enough, and it might force Sony to make dumb, rushed moves, just to suit the whiners who don't understand fiscal plans, and what needs to be done to keep nibblers, nibbling

Sorry I thought about that after I typed it. I didn't mean it in a bad way.. I just meant by the business plan thus far, 360 was on fire.. and they do still have good things coming. I'm the last to be a fanboy, even if it didn't seem it that way. I'm at work, and should be doing something else... but i'm trying to type fast, hense the POOR editing.

I do like the 360 though, and loved my XBOX.

updates are meant to fix things little by little they dont solve everything all at once sheesh have some patience kids
