"ghost" trophy not unlocking in mw2? plz help!

i was doing the cliffhanger level and i didnt hurt or injure anyone before i planted the c4, but i did not unlock the trophy for it. can anyone please help me on this?

thats the thing. i did redo it.... 3 times and still no trophy...

You clearly are not doing something right. If I remember this trophy correctly, you can only kill the first two guards then go the whole level without alerting anyone.

I did that trophy for my friend, you can only kill the first 2 guys after the climbing part i think. Other than that it's quite easy. I did it while my friend was in the bathroom for like 2 min :D

You can't kill anyone from the time he says "Go plant the C4 on the fuel tanks" until you actually plant the C4. That's the only section that you can't kill anyone on. Got it on my 2nd try.

ya i know all this. i even looked at guides on how to get it just incase i was doing something wrong. after i kill the first 2 guards, i sneak by really easy on the far left while he takes them out with his sniper. i run to the plant the c4 and no one was alerted or injured....

You have to not alert ANY guards otherwise you have to restart from the last checkpoint, and you CAN'T kill anyone, now go try again.

i did that. and re did that 3 times.... even checked a trophy guide to make sure.....

You can kill the two groups of guards in the beginning, and after that you can be spotted by anybody or kill anybody until you plant C4. It's okay when Price snipes them though, it doesn't count.

prolly messed up somewhere if every one else has got it.

idk if this has anything to do with it, but i have beaten the game and now i went to the mission select catagory and just selected cliffhanger and put it on recruit. thats how im doing all the trophies but this one aint popping up after i plant the c4

You shouldn't have a problem doing that. Maybe you should delete your game data, copy your game save to usb and delete it on ps3, then retry the game that way. It shouldn't take too long as I think it was one of the first few missions of the campaign.
