"the hard disks file system is corrupted and will be restored"

My PS3 has just encountered the problem where when turning on my PS3 it comes up with the message "the hard disks file system is corrupted and will be restored" I wanted to know if I restored it would I lose all my on-line ranks and achievements like on CoD4. Thanks in advanced!:DUnderoathMan007

u loose most things stored on hard drive

but for ur online stats nothing will be touched as they are not saved on the hard drive

I can also comfirm this.. I got 2 ps3's, as more than myself use a ps3 in my home.. I can play on whatever console I wish and my ranking is intact. =).. for some reason though, it appears not to save the customized names for your own "weapon setups"..
