R2 Coop Coop

So i just started playing R2 again. i forgot how great this game was! but anyway to the point of my thread. why is it that when you have a friend over and the two of you play coop, player 2's points score dont accumulate onto your stats? infact they dont even save for player 2 from one session to the next. i think they should count for player 1 as it is your game session.

From what I've seen from the beta, the points go to whatever account player 2 is signed in under, which has to something other than the current account playing or else it gets classified as a guest and nothing is saved for them.

R2 has to be the only game I know on the PS3 that allows individual players to sign into their own accounts, ala Xbox Live's setup.

Well, in the 1.5 patch you can log in with 2 different psn usernames at the same time and it will save the stats for the 2nd player.
