I was going to pick this up, but I figured I'd give it a quick rent first. I will no longer be making the purchase,I don't want to change my system settings to display in 720p everytime I want to play this game...it's unfortunate, maybe if they patch it or something, I don't understand why they would include anything higher than 720p when it looks like trash.
Buy it...Its really an amazing game and well worth the $60, unless you want to save that money for NGS...
I normally dont care for the PS3 controller when it comes to FPSs, but this game actually gets it right. The controls are easy to use, game play is awesome, graphics are pretty good. The only thing its missing is more guns. Im used to Tom Clancy games having an infinite amount of weapons, however, it seems that they decided to change that with this edition of Rainbow Six.
Its a buy for sure as long as you like tatical shooters since there really isn't much running and gunning in this one :P . The online is tight and if your in a server that lags just exit out but I've only had that problem once so far. Get a head set too, makes the game a lot better when you can communicate, so all in all I recommend this game, just a lot of fun.
The game is interesting but I would rent it first. I heard the visuals were awesome but really they are mediocre. Honestly, to me Resistance looks so much better. Gameplay is one of those things you just have to play to see if you like it. Good luck.
