I haven't played any of those games, but I would suggest also waiting for Gran Turismo for the psp, it should be coming out this fall I think. If you want one of those then I would probably get burnout. I also have flatout for the PSP and it is a pretty fun racing game.

I have not played Need For Speed Carbon or Burnout Dominator, but I do own and play Burnout Legends. It's a very fun game, I recommend it. By the way, I heard Dominator does not have crash mode, which is kind of weird for the Burnout series.

Well, I have all three as I am a big fan of racing games, I would say that the Need For Speeds are a total nono. The burnouts are fun but quite short. I would say the best racing game is Midnight Club : LA Remix. It is absolutely fantastic, the graphics are amazingly detailed, there is around 70 cars, and L.A and Tokyo to complete. This will take you months. The only bad thing about it is the loading times, at an average of 1 minute on my 3000, it is quite disappointing but it is worth the wait. Hope I Helped You With Your Decision

Of the three options, I would say that Burnout Dominator is the best. It has better track design than legends and better and wider variety of modes (legends has way too many burning lap and road rage stages for my taste). Legends' gameplay consisted of racing on tracks that had long streches of easy to navigate roadways, where the biggest challenge was avoiding the traffic, then taking a hard turn and doing more of the same. Dominator has winding tracks, shortcuts, less traffic, and had a better boost system which balanced the gameplay better than legends. Carbon is a good game but its nothing special, the midnight club games are good but the load times are atrocious and a big turnoff, there are also the wipeout games that are really good, but i would still say get Dominator, its the best racing game on the psp IMO, u wont regret it.

This cat ain't gonna be into "Gran Turismo"... look at the three titles listed, those are NOT simulation. This is an individual looking for a good arcade racing game. Most arcaders get frustrated quickly in sim-world so it's not a good suggestion, nor was it one of the games listed in the original post.

Go with "Dominator" certainly... and for all of the excellent break-down and reasoning displayed in the post one or two back. I agree whole-heartedly with those assessments of the "BurnOut" series. Too bad "Midnight Club: L.A. ReMix" is so bad on the load times, those games are a lot of fun on the console (thanks for the tip I'll steer clear, if you can excuse the pun).

:D
