Racing games 2choices

Hey, im just another geek that loves racing games(drifting/nitro) im rich so i can't get all the games so im wondering what game is the best out of the 2
here are my choices:
-Burnout Paradise
-Grid
like is burnout paradise a racing game or a car combat type of game....i love to drift .etc

Burnout has alot to do, but it gets repetitive pretty fast.

Burnout, but ive been meaning to get Grid for a long time now and it seems pretty good.

Forget those 2... Get Motorstorm: Pacific Rift, then Gran turismo 5 later. :D

I'm going to be the odd man out, but I much prefer GRiD. Paradise is fun, but the constant crashing (not a skill level issue, so shadap) leaves me pulling fistfulls of my own hair.
