I was going to get either the Logitech Driving Force Pro or the G25 Racing Wheel and i was woundering if i get one of these wheels will most of the games be compatible with them for a reasonably long time because i dont intend to upgrade and will games be more compatable with Force Feedback as time goes on.

And does anyone know if either of these wheels are compaable with NFS Pro Street, Motorstorm and GT5P.

Thanks for any help

I think you should try it out somehow before you spend that much money. I have never had a decent racing wheel for any console, though I have not tried the Xbox 360's wheel (or this one...).

- i have the DFP and it's fantastic, the G25 looks amazingly cool and will problably be more useful on a PC set up atm, however if game dev. were to program the features to compliment it in future PS3 racing games only then will it more than likely be a worthy purchase for the price?

the only game i played the DFP with on the PS3 is Nascar 08, it has force feedback enabled and it's pretty cool, i think GT:HD has FF enabled now, NFS:Pro will more than likely, Motorstorm = NO :? , GT5P = assuming YES (when it becomes avail.)

- i hoped my "USB"Logitech DFP would've been compatible with the 360 but apparently it's NOT...so i bought and VERY quickly returned the MS wireless wheel the next day, it doesn't come close the DFP in any way shape or form!
and none of the 360 racing games seems to impliment FF impressively imo, but thankfully the 360 system controller is great to use with the many GREAT racing games avail. for the 360 !

a wheel like the DFP or G25 for the 360 with proper FF & options to accomodate in racing games would be completey AWESOME, unfortunately i don't see it happening for the 360 :( however these wheels are compatible with the PS3, it's just a matter of time until more racing games compliment 'em...i'd buy a racing game i can use my DFP with than any system controller!

I have a DFP...works great with the Gran Turismo HD demo, and pretty well with Ridge Racer 7, but does not work at all with Motorstorm. It's a great wheel at a good price, but the G25 is unbelievably cool if you've got the cash.

Hope that helps!

And you can get stuck with one that just does not work for you. So yea make sure first. Their are some really good ones. But at the same times their are ones so bad, you can do better with the stick.

I have got the G25 and it's great I haven't got a PS3. So I am still playing with the PS2 + GT4.

G25 is Logitech's top racing-wheel which is already compatible with the PS3. Developers would be foolish not to support every feature of this top-of-the-line steering-wheel.

But yea, most build something that fits them to. And alot have their pedals in some contraption, so when you slam on the breaks or whatever, it dont move.
