I think that guy is a Johnny Sasaki clone.Or maybe just a son. He said in MGS3 that every son in his family is named John so maybe :shock:
at first I thought he was a new clone of snake, but as everyone keeps saying, he's Johny. (sakaki?) He was the guy Meryl knocked out and took the clothes from in the first MGS. the first one took place about 10 years before this one.

he's apparently a tech specialist, not a fighter. You know there is something up wiht him because he was imune to all the nano assaulting i earlier trailers. I get the feeling there is much more to him than comic relief

That doesn't make sense?? I have never ever seen Raiden do anything pansy (or what JOHNNY usually does) in MGS2!!! He was actually pretty brave, he killed Vamp 3 times for Gods sake!!!!
