Rainbow 6 Vegas (1) In HD 1080p - horrible!

I wanted to play some Rainbow 6 Vegas for a bit since I haven't touched it since I played it on my Tube TV a year ago. I popped in the disk and loaded the game up, and wow just horrible! On 1080p the menus are so bad looking, I loaded up a terrorist hunt and the textures look worse then playing CS:S at 640x480 with all low settings. Everything was so jaggy. I set my PS3 for only 720p and it looked a bit better, but not by much.

Is it just me or does this game look horrible on an HDTV? No AA, jaggy edges, guns look horrible, no reflections.

Yea, I'm really looking forward to getting Vegas 2, never finished 1, but I hope 2 has 1080p support, or if at 720p the textures don't look horrible.
