Ok so I put my PSP slim in my pocket, and leave it there. Then I put it in my book bag because I was gonna play football.. After that I didnt touch my psp all day. The next day i pull it out, it is FULL of scratches. Looks exactly like a spider web. Well I didn't really care about that... until i turned it on then BAM a freaking rainbow in the middle of my psp. I wipe at it , still there, thought in my be an oil stain or something, scratched at it... still there. Is there any solution to get that rainbow scratch off of my psp?

Samething happened to me a couple days ago. I turned it on and out of nowhere there 2 litle rainbow scratches in it. Nothing big but it annoys the hell out of me. I thought it was water but didn't wipe off. My best guess is that its on the other side of the glass infront of the screen so youd have to open up your PSP to get to it, but I dont want to try that yet...I dont even know if thats what it really is.

Are the scratches inside the PSP? If it is, the screen is broken. You have to call Sony's services for a screen replacement.

I don't think there inside the PSP... It might be deep scratches. I might just get a faceplate, or live with it.

Well PSP Screens are like iPods. Theres the LCD, and then theres a glass/plastic cover which is part of the psp/ipod. This is what you're looking through to see the screen. The LCD and the glass/plastic are like a millimeter or two apart, and sometimes youll get dust and stuff in there and you can see it just there but you cant wipe it away. Thats where I think these "scratches" are tha might just be something there that you can wipe off. Or at least in my case.

Maybe you're using a Custom firmware and ISO. Too bad. Buy UMDs and support the PSP.

Nope - your wrong, i have CFW and its 100% perfect no dramas. CFW has nothing to do with it.

If he wants to have CFW so what? what business do you have telling him to buy and support PSP?

If he wants CFW let him have CFW - mind your own business and stop accusing people of something thats not right.
