I just checked the revised US playstation 3 release dates on IGN, and it has rainbow six vegas listed as april 24th now, wtf is going on here with ubisoft?? first GRAW 2 and now this...
be patient guys. i'm playing it now on my 360 and it's really great. Make sure you play it on "realistic" when you start. Best tactical shooter out there imo.
i thought this gamw was coming out in june so this is good news to me :p my only complaint with this game is that sniping sux, there are some spots where you have a perfect headshot but objects can deflect it (shooting through a railing or when the guy is next to a pillar)
It is well known that the PS3 is difficult to develop for. I'm sure that's your reason for the delays. They are now getting their feet wet. Future titles won't have as many problems.
it a great game but i heard they where having some problems on the framerate on the 360 so the stoped production of the ps3 version until the 360 one was lanched (it ubisoft they whants money and since the 360 had a year lead they whated to have that out for the holidays)
Well apparently the psp version has been pushed back to april 24th, but everywhere else I'm still seeing a march 20th release for ps3, so maybe ign got it wrong? or both are getting delayed?
EB Games still has it as March and they've beaten IGN to the punch on delays to this point. At the current moment, I have no reason to believe otherwise. R6 PS3R6 PSP

Heavenly sword, Graw 2, Fear, Fatal Inertia, Warhawk, Lair, Motorstorm...the list just goes on and on. I love my PS3--but for the love of Pete--could we get a few more games to play.

I'm still not convinced that it is delayed. I have 2 links that show that only IGN has April 24th as the PS3 release date. I really do think that they mixed up the PSP release date with the PS3 because as you can see from my post above the PSP version hits in April.
I am not buying this game b ecause I own it and completed it already. I just hope after all of these delays, that the game is better than just a basic port.
Mother of God..... I just pre-ordered it to on amazon.com..... by the way i want to thank the guy for givin' us that link. :) I heart you homie. Anyways, I play this all the time on my friends 360, and I can't wait for this title. And I'll be highly pissed off if Ubisoft F's up this port.
They probably can't get the game running up tp par on the PS3 yet, the 360 and PS3 have two very different archetecture. Thats the only reason I can think of, GRAW 2, SPLINTER CELL.
