"The first difference that we noticed is that textures aren't quite as sharp as what we remember seeing on the Xbox 360 game. While some stuff is fine, another texture close by will be of a much lower resolution, resulting in a disjointed look to some of the environments. And as this is a game where you constantly use cover and therefore get close-up looks at walls all the time, there aren't many things that can be classified as "small" details. Fortunately though, the game did run quite well and we didn't notice any significant slowdown in our time with it."
They noted no slowdown. I wouldn't be surprised if that's the cause for all the delays. It was probably running at 15 FPS with these crappy textures and they decided they had to fix one of the two problems, so delayed the game for 6 months to get to work on it.
It also said the controls are "looser." Nice. It feels extremely good to get the leftovers again. Thanks, Ubisoft!

The sad thing, of course, is that all this comes in the midst of Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted, Lair, and Heavenly Sword, all of which look absolutely amazing. So, in other news, Ubisoft has no right to say "The Playstation 3 needs a price cut!"
