Rainbow Six: Las Vegas 2 is NOT WORKING! Help!

I have taken out the disk about 20 odd times, and given it a thorough lookdown, there is not a SCRATCH on it. Which I know because It is virtually brand new, and it has only gone in my PS3 once. I just opened it back up today and the ps3 will not bring it up as a disk. But this is all after I downloaded the patch for it (1.20) it

I popped Turok in and it works fine (i wouldnt want to lose that game, lol) So should i take it to the store and tell them its broken?

Will they let you exchange it for a new game if they put it in their ps3 and it doesnt work?

I would go to Gamestop too.

Currently, the version you should have is 2.35. That's probably why it doesn't work. Newer games require the latest firmware version at the time of their release. 1.20 is ages old.

if you bought it at bestbuy, i know they will. I don't know about gamestop though. Also, the blu-rays are hard-coated--that's the reason they don't have scratches.

it was a 52 MB download, then i was able to play online with other people, so im pretty sure it was up to date

but then the game quit saying disk couldnt be read, and it never showed up again on the xmb

I had the same issue with mine. Disconnect from the PSN and try it then. That worked for me. THey must be messing with the servers
