What's everyone's thoughts on this great game coming out and what new features you think will be added.

Well before we go calling the game "great" we should probably wait to hear and see a little more from it.
As far as new features, I don't think Vegas 2 really needs many more features they just need to improve on what they did with Vegas. A solid story would help, although the story for Vegas wasn't bad. Also, I'm probably going to expect most games to have a framerate like CoD4 from here on out. lol And more online features are definitely a must such as matchmaking, party system, etc.
As far as the March release date, it does seem to be pretty close to have not heard anything except for an announcement and a few screenshots. Doesn't mean it can't happen though either.

EDIT: Oh god sorry guys. IGN's release date listing (see here) say January 2008 so when I looked at the Gamestop one I just assumed it was 2008 as well. Terribly sorry about that.
Well, I don't think it will set in vegas anymore... I mean, after the first one, is pretty conclusive that the Rainbow team had finished their mission in Vegas and ready to go else where. So It will Rainbow Six (insert location). lol :P
As for the release date... don't know what to make for it. If true, great. If not, let it be since there so many other games to look forward to in Q1 and Q2 08.

and if you look on here is say "Rainbow Six Vegas 2"....so obviously they didnt change the name much

Gamestop.com has Silent Hill V's release date as Jan. 2, 2009. However, IGN's release date list says January 2008. Check my previous post about it for both links.

what are yall talking about R6V did have online co-op; i even beat it with my fiend, online. That's actually the only way i've beaten the story mode; i havent completed it on single player yet. Lol yea sad i know
The game, which Ubisoft said is planned for "next-generation consoles and PC," is scheduled for release in March 2008 to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the Rainbow Six gaming franchise.
Its NOT coming out march 11th its.....1 it just got announced and 2 its way ealry plus gamestop website is way off on many things..... i net the game will be quarter 4 of 2008 and will get delayed till 2009!!!! I just bet.
It sounds like you think games aren't even started until they are announced and that's not the case at all. Chances are its already been months upon months in development. I do agree that March seems close but that's going off of when Vegas for PS3 came out, not due to them just announcing it.
I should be alright then i haven't touched it yet. last fund i created got me my flat screen, i think i'll have enough for my PC in 2 months time after that its smooth sailing. ;)
*Sigh* this is one of the game I have to get for 360 since my friend will only play this game on that console... :( I guess i will pick up both copies to show support.

I didn't read the ign remark on Vegas 2 before I post my comment. Seriously... I mean, is pretty logical for anyone who played and finsihed Vegas that the next one will not set in vegas. lol. I guess, great minds think alike. :P
That is a very quick turnaround indeed but I highly doubt that date is set in stone.The only way this possible is that ubisoft created 1 & 2 concurrently ala LOTR or the had a secret dev team cracking at it. Anyway they need to get this game out sooner rather than later with KZ2 coming down the pipe and RFOM2 in the fall, not to mention UT3 arriving next week, so March/April sounds feasible. One thing for sure, CoD4 raised the bar, so R62 better bring their AAA game.
I loved r6lv, played it a ton with a friend. If this comes out on ps3, I'm definitely picking up a copy. And to the poster who said that he would pick up the 360 cuz his friend would only play that instead of ps3...multiplayer is fun, but buy it for yourself, mate. If your friend really wanted to play, he'd play your ps3 copy regardless. It's yours dude, don't let an immature person dictate how you spend your money.
Well I just hope they really work, and keep working on its online component the first game was great but their were a lot of problems in terms of bugs, servers and that ranking (one bug could make you start all over again), that were never really addressed. As well, I can't help feeling that this may just be a 60 dollar expansion pack. Although I could be wrong but I really don't want to shell out that much cash just for an update in graphics and a conclusion to a story.
