I never played RSV2, but I can tell you about the first one. I was really impressed with the online for RSV and played it for a hundred plus hours. I have not played it since COD4, but I can assume that online is dead. The single player was great fun, but I have to say that the ending left much to be desired. I thought it was just challenging enough to play with out being able to beat it in a day (if ya know what i mean). Other than the ending it would be worth picking up if you can get it on the cheap. You will have to go elsewhere for your RSV2 info....

Personally I preferred the single player experience of the first one much better than the second. If you plan on doing co-op or going online much then I would recommend the second one.
