As far as I know, IGN doesn't really keep up to date on weekends, I've called most of the stores and they have the latest release dates, changed since the 9-10th, so it's the real release date.

I've called ebgames, gamecrazy, gamestop, and both said that it would released on 19th and be in store on the 20th. You can check bestbuy, gamecrazy, gamespot/ebgames, circuitcity, target, amazon. All say it will be release on the 19th and on shelves on the 20th.retrib

I am inclined to believe the 19th as I have this game preordered through Amazon.com and they recently sent me a notification that the game was pushed back from the 12th to the 19th. If everyone else is saying the 19th and so is Amazon, then I am going with the 19th.

And for those that don't know, this game should not be delayed any further as IGN has the final copy of the game.

Ebgames is owned by the same people of gamestop, and they changed their dates from the 26th to the 19th earlier today.

I just put a reserve on it today!

Needless to say, i'm pretty excited. It'll be my first Ps3 game...and i'm sure I won't be dissapointed.

Inferior port? get out of the PS3 forums please, you apparantly do not do your research and clearly have a grudge against Ubisoft, I hate when people say that RB6 is an inferior port when it's not even true, and don't be giving me that bogus comparison video.

It looks to us like some of the bloom effects and other filters aren't quite as abundant as they were on Microsoft's console, for better or worse, which is oddly most noticeable when inside the helicopter and looking at your team before heading into a mission. Once in the heat of the battle though, it looks about as good as we ever remember seeing it.

I've got nothing against any company making a game for the PS3. As game starved as I am right now, I'd take a well made game from any dev/publisher. Additional maps are nice but these little things should have been fixed in the six plus months of delays. ANd next time you disagree with someone you can voice that opinion without telling them to "leave." This is the PS3 forum...not SW :).

Bloom effects are not "good" and secondly, both games stutter at the same moments, I've read in 1up's preview, it's not inferior port, I don't need bloom effects, which seems to be the only thing that is less abundant.
