Okay, I've always been a fan of platformers and action/adventure (J&D, Mario, etc.) but I've never played a R&C game.
So, will I miss anything buy buying R&C 5, or should I play the others first?
It looks so damn good, i'm going to have a hard time not buying it. :P
*GASP*! In my opinion, the R&C franchise is one of the best out there, and delivered on so many levels with each one of the games. All four should be >= $20, so go do yourself a favor and pick a couple up, if only to get you in a more Ratchety mood.Okay, I've always been a fan of platformers and action/adventure (J&D, Mario, etc.) but I've never played a R&C game.

Gah, I have so many ps2 games to buy/finish already. I need to finish Jak 3 and SotC, and start MGS2 and GoW2. If i can finish these fast enough, i'll try and pick them up, but I don't know if i'll be able to before Heavenly Sword, etc. hit.
The ps2 had too many damn games. :P

I don't think you'll miss out on the story too much, but all of the R&C games are DEFINITELY worth playing. At the very least you should rent them.

Yeah, but Deadlocked wasn't the best in the series. it was good, but the worst in the series. If you can only play one, play Going Commando it's the best one in the series.
as a 22 year old, would you suggest Ratchet and Clank for me, or is it for aimed for the younger crowd...(keep in note, i never played a game like this in my entire life, although i still think Crash is the man!)HoVDaHuSTLa1Yes, definatly, and if you have a network adapter get Up Your Arsenal because online is really fun
