I have to agree with that. They are definately great games to add to anyone's collection. It's up to you which to get first, but in the end, I believe you should own both.

i have both, i got ratchet and clank first. that game is just plain fun, amongst the rest of its awesomeness. its such a good and enjoyable game, its a must have for any PS3 owner. and it has good replayability.

i've just started playing Uncharted now too, and again the PS3 has blown me away. the visuals in this game rival a lot of PC games I have seen, and im an avid PC gamer and play all my PC games at the highest settings, so i know how good a game can look. the gameplay is so unique and entertaining and so far the puzzles have also provided a nice challenge. it feels like you're watching a very well made and scripted movie, only you control the outcome.

i'd say get ratchet first, since having done it that way i feel its the better move. racthet is awesome and provides hours of fun, and once you complete the game you can go back and do it in a harder mode, with new weapons, but it is still the same levels. so once you complete Ratchet and even conquer the second time round, go grab yourself Uncharted. i imagine the game is shorter, but it feels a lot slower and IMO would take a little more time and thinking. depends how/what you like playing.

i dont know wat the mods are thinking but its really starting to get annoying

rachet and clank, i jus beat that game... however there is a challenge mode, with more upgrades and harder difficulty =]

You have a way of posting exactly what's on my mind so I don't have to ... but I'd still like to anyway :P. As Dan said, you should definitely get both when you can.

Uncharted = GOTY ... but I'm finding it difficult to get into Ratchet and Clank after playing the sheer excellence that is Uncharted. So I'm actually recommending you to get Ratchet and Clank before Uncharted. For me, anyway, Uncharted is so good that it makes every other game pale in comparison ... even the awesome fun that is Ratchet and Clank.

lol you know, i think thats exactly the way it should go. i think thats why i had so much fun with both games. ratchet and clank is so awesome, and now that i have completed it nearly twice but have everything unlocked/collected, i started Uncharted. honestly, i dunno if i could go back to ratchet and clank for a while yet, Uncharted is seriously too good. sure ratchet is fun, comical and just easy going, but Uncharted is something else.

yeah i might have to change my opinion a bit. im playing Uncharted at the moment (up to Chapter 9 maybe? or 10 cant remember) and its so awesome, i've been totally blown away by this game.

no discredit to the game, could be just me, but i feel that after i've completed this game, i dunno if i could really be bothered going back and doing it? i mean the first time through is just mind blowing. the second would be a bit...oh yeah, know exactly what to do here. been there, done that. that unique experience would be gone, and it wouldbe just another awesome adventure game. you could still play it a second time though, easily.Ratchet you can do at least 2 times, even 3 to get all the weapons. although the third time would be a bit boring.

i think i'd have to recommend Uncharted first, then Ratchet. that is of course, assuming you can get both, which is the assumption most of us are now making lol. if you could only get one....i think im gonna have to go with Uncharted. Ratchet and Clank is a sick game, but Uncharted has offered something totally new and inventive in terms of adventure gaming, and (so far) has offered a new, unpredictable experience around every corner. plus i prefer the more serious/realistic approach to gaming, so Uncharted just appeals in every way.
