Pull up an aisle seat, tonight we are rating the PSN ID "Starscream 35".
Well what we have here is another PSN ID, we have all seen them before and we will all see them again. But it is an earnest attempt, and I feel an honest representation of the genre. We can forgive the template like form of the ID and just dig in to the meat.
Our ID opens quite dramatically with "Star", a young and innocent gamer, perhaps a bit of a ham, but confident and wide eyed to the future. His universe is unhampered by cynicism and doubt, he feels no regret for what has past. Little does he know what awaits..!
This is where the ID really gets rolling. Cover your ears! The hollering, or I should say screeching that follows may not be suitable for younger gamers. Indeed this ID may deserve a mature rating. Depends on where you are reading it I suppose. But screaming is not for everyone, so adults, talk to your kids. Make sure they understand that it is just an ID. Not real.
In conclusion, I think this PSN ID holds up very well, especially since it is the 35th installment of this saga. Starscream 22 was far worse, where as the first 3 Starscreams were clearly the ID's golden age.
I give Starscream35 a thumbs up, with a cautionary note to younger ID readers. Had the author decided to go with "Starsing35" or "Starpants35" then I could recommend this ID to a wider audience, but obviously his vision is his own. Thumbs up!
