Ok, obviously to have pictures and videos on your PSP, you have to transfer them from a computer to the console. The PSP that I bought did not come with the specific USB, so I found a similar USB that fit into the hole so I tried it but it didn't connect. It was a USB from my camera that transmited fotos from the camera TO the computer, so I think that was the problem. So can I use any USB or is it the specific PSP USB? Because I can't find that USB anywhere in my country (Venezuela).

I tried a USB cable from a camera and it didn't work for me either. I tried my Creative Zen Touch and it worked.

Did you set the PSP to connect? The option is under the system menu.

... and you should also check that you use a USB2 port on your PC. My PSP would'nt connect until I change the cable to a USB2 port.
