RE4 for PS2 and GC?

Hey what is up people? Well recently I've been noticing people played RE4 on ps2 and I could not picture that game in my mind so I went to gamestop.com and typed it in. As results came out I found the RE4 I had for Gamecube, which said "ONLY FOR GC" and then I also clicked on the PS2 version and it said the same description, so I was wondering if the story changes? Is it the same game different cover on the box? Am I missing something?

Yeah,wrong forum.Any questions you have about any last gen games ask it here in the Legacy Platform section.But I will answer your question.The PS2 version of the game came out about a year later.It features new costumes and it lets you play as a different character that you did not get to play as in the Gamecube version.

Let me add that it had more extras and more weapons than the GC version.

The ps2 version had a bit of a down grade in graphics but the had extra content. i think it came with the ada wong missions wich were cool. if you have a Wii get that version as it was by farthe best. it came with every thing the ps2 version had plus a MUCH improved controls. But as faras the main story line go's all versions were the same
