Yea I heard about this a while ago. Its true that it might come out 09. I would say late 08.

Theres plenty of awesome games comming out before it: Killzone 2, Ratchet & Clank, Metal gear solid 4, Gta 4, Little big planet... surely they can keep you entertained untilRE5!

this game does have some of the best graphics ive seen on the ps3 though, maybe when we reach 2009, all games for the ps3 will look like this.

until then, im very happy with UT3 and killzone. :)

Yeah like Devil May Cry 4... for multiplatforms. Don't worry about it... in between that point, we will have the new Silent Hill 5 and maybe a new Fatal Frame (unconfirmed). Who knows, maybe a new frightening game will come out to set a new bar in Horror...

Yeah that does suck, but cant rush perfection. This concerns me to think this game is taking so long to develope, cause if it is normal for a game to take that long, we wont see God of War 3 until like, 2010!!!carljohnson3456

Perfection my A$$! Both ps3 and xbox 360 will look the same again and another waste of Ps3 capabilities will be demonstrated by capcom. this game is a multiplatform game and as expected the Ps3 will be left out again in frame rate and graphics because companies are lazy to use the full capabilities of ps3

Its true capcom themselves predict thats when it will be out. RE4 took 6 years to make so u can bet on it.

maybe developin for both systems so that they get use to it for RE5's perfection

now a days.. perfection doesn't lie through time.. like that one PC game where it took them like 6 years to make.. and it got what a 8.something :T .. we'll see.. the wait doesn't matter.. there are other scary games out there or other games period that can distract us as we wait!expanded

If you guys have played AND completed RE4 then you know how much time it'll take for them to make a simmilar if not longer and better (God knows how they'll do that) game than RE4. ALSO, I think people (not me)complaining about racial discrimination in the game have made the devs to rethink their whole story and chracaters and they might be starting from scrath, which will lead to a 2009 date, only time will tell.

I agree, the game was probably scraped because alot of people were throwing out racial discrimination slurs when it came to the game. I'm half black/mexican and was kinda upset when I saw this game's previews. Hopefully they scrap it and do something different, otherwise I'll probably steer clear of this game and choose Silent Hill 5 onlyinstead.

The first time I see the trailer in which Chris smacks the heck out of that dude in the red shirt, well all I saw was the trailer of RE5 that looks awsome graphically and realized the gameplay was simmilar to RE4, didnt even notice that a white guy was shooting black peeps, It made sense cuz afterall he was in Africa, but alot of peeps, even a chick from a political party said the game was discriminating against african americans so U never know if this story is scraped and they'd be forced to come up with something diff. They'll ATLEAST have to even it out with including some white folks (say a team of researchers who went to africa to find a cure for some disease and unleased some kind of virus which infect the whole city).

PS: If you've learnedanything from Rush Hour movies, there's always a white guy behind all theevil doingslols JK.
