re5, what does update version 1.02 mean?

i finished the game 4 times already then now when i started the game it showed software found version1.02. what does it mean? do i have to download it?

It'll be a patch that fixes minor bugs and errors that can occur in the game, technically it's not necessary as you can play the game as it is if you're not connected to the net...

but it's a far better idea to install it, it doesnt take long

nah, coz when i played it for the first time at first day of release it had me to download install update for me to play it, now it's asking me to do this again.. i think the first time it's 1.01 then now 1.02.. i had the choice to cancel and just play the game, but i chose to download the new 1.02, it's downloading now at 40%, so slow to download.. it's 36 mb.. i wonder what it means/does..:(

as far as i can remember i only had one bug/freeze in the game the first time i played it, the part where you check the first ever barrel then it froze, ever since then no problem at all in the game..

as soon as i downloaded the patch, more trophies was included for the DLC.

it added the new trophies for the DLC coming in 2 weeks. Before the patch the only way you could see these trophies was to compare your trophies to a friend. The master list is on Sony's servers thats why when you looked at your own they didn't show up til this update

It solves bugs that can potentially happen, just because nothing went wrong for you doesnt eliminate risk of other gamers meeting them, and so a patch is sent to every connected console to resolve POTENTIAL bugs and glitches

ya the trophies are already there the first time around... i just doubled checked, the first time was version 1.01, now downloading 1.02. oh well, i'll just wait and see what it does after the download.

Wait, can we still get platinum without buying the DLC then?
