really gamespot really?

somethings gotta gIve here, i made a thread about two weeks ago asking my fellow peers on these particular forums why so many people have come and gone and i belive i know why now.

i recently just got modderated for 4 day suspension for flamming because i was defending the site...even though it said only a 3 day suspension.

i am outraged and this is getting to be out of hand, i don't know what it is with the ps3 forums but somethings gotta change, I've been apart of this site for two years before my other accnt got banned for something i didn't say.

gamespot i guess just banning/suspending the people who keep this site together is a great idea.... i personally seen thevast drops in post lately, know i no why!

your thoughts guys?

A. Flaming is flaming, no matter who you're defending.
B. Suspensions start at the night of the moderation, so it was 3 days.
C. You just admitted to ban dodging.

it can get hectic in gamespot i had an account for almost 5 years boom 1 day suspension for a dumb reason 2:(

lol and no i was suspended from april 3rd to just ten mins ago and its the 7th four days

Meh. The posts are still there but some of the creativity and originality that was once here is starting to slip away, or I've just been here long enough. :P

Anyway if you have a problem with the moderations (I think that's what you're concerned about) there's a thread in OT about this where you can state your opinion or you can even go to Ask the Mods.

You're unfortunately going to get moderated for posting this thread in the wrong forum. It should go in the Ask the Mods forum if you have a question about your moderation, or in your blog if you just want to vent about it. And a tip for avoiding similar suspensions in the future. Do not say ANYTHING negative about another user OR their opinions. You cannot call them "idiot", "stupid" (tho you can apparently call them a fanboy... lol @ rules) and you cannot say their opinions are "ridiculous" or "stupid" or anything like that. The moderation system is really whacked out and unpredictable, so it's best to protect yourself from the few predictable moderations there are by not dismissing any users or their opinions, REGARDLESS of how stupid and idiot the person and their opinions are.clicketyclick

Anyway I know some things seem strange to get suspended or even have your accont deleted as punishment but heck it happens, I just don't go posting things I know someone might even find slightly offensive, I keep it to myself...and then bang Rage Against the Machine:P

Why don't I have this problem? Read the ToS and becareful about what you say and you will never get moderated. It has worked for me up to this point.
