Heres 2 reasons: 1. Most people have the original already, so why would they purchase another one? 2. It will have the same disadvantage as the DS lite: It will probably break easily.
plus the original psp will probably get an upgrade which will let it be able to do all the same things the new one does, remember lighter means its less durable, and easily for your brother or sister to break.
The new PSP is different than the DS Lite (which I also own and endorse). The DS Lite was major cosmetic and screen upgrade which the DS Phat desperately needed. The PSP was not in such dire need of a make-over so Sony added a few significant new features; TV out and faster loading times, alongside trimming the size some and removing extra weight. I believe that most people who own and play PSPs regulary will upgrade for these features alone, especially if Gamestop offers a compelling trade in deal. I certainly plan to upgrade.
I will absolutely not upgrade. I love my PSP. Won't spend money on this new few features.... Also.. only time will tell when 3.60 will be REALLY useful.
no, sony is cheap..... but they're not dumb enough to upgrade the original psp in order to make it almost exctly the same. keep in mind, once the new psp comes out, they are just gonna stop making accessories and stuff for the orignal
I got a PSP for Christmas last year. I've used the hell outta that thing, but sometimes the bulk and load times are problematic. Also, unlike my PSP, which was bundled with the unimpressive duo of "Lords of Dogtown" and "ATV Offroad Fury", the new one will feature "Daxter" and "Family Guy".
I think I may be getting the "Freakin' Sweet" bundle and giving my old PSP to my little brother very soon.
