Reasons Not to sell my PS3

I purchased a PS3 about 5 months ago and since the first month I haven't turned it on sense. Please let me get some reasons to use it because the graphics arn't that great as my xbox and also I feel lonely when I play it :(

The graphics are about the same on each console, so I do not know why you think the graphics are worse on PS3.

PS3 has most of the major games coming to the platform plus exclusive games

You have got

Twisted Metal, Starhawk, Ni No Kuni, Tales Of Graces F, Sly Cooper, God of War, and the Last of Us coming out this year.

There was also a slew of content that came out last year as well

Little Big Planet 2, Killzone 3, Ratchet and Clank, Resistance, Motorstorm, Socom, Infamous, and so on

If none of those franchise interest you, then why did you buy the console in the first place?

Newsflash: No one cares if you want to sell your PS3. Think your Xbox has better graphics? Then what are you wasting your time in here for? Go and sell your PS3, if thats what you want. No one in here is going to care one way or the other.

Honestly I feel like its either your with PS3 or not and if you oppose then your a loser thats the vibe I get. This is why the Xbox community is better because people actually talk to you and arnt just flammers. So w.e **** u guys except for the guy who listed games and also Im just saying that PS3's graphics look a little dated now u could have reccomended me a way to fix that but no..u decide to be a dick. Asking for game recommendations for the PS3 doesn't have anything to do with an X-box. You can leave that part out.

Also you never mentioned what kind of games you like to play, we can't read minds.

play it for the reasons i play mine, not for the online and such, xbox is for that, play it for the awesome exclusives such as the uncharted series, infamous series, demons souls, killzone series, and theres more i think but i havent gotten to those yet. i think thats a quite good enough reason to play it.

Your right I can accept my down falls and I apologize for my part in the wrong doing. I like all types of games is there any besides GOW that I should look at?

bro it all depends on the game you want to play. if you are into the plenty and amazing (imo) ps3 exclusives then keep it. if you are only into multiplats and online gaming then stick with the 360.

i have both so it doesnt really matter to me lol. i use my ps3 alot tho for the exclusives. any more questions feel free to ask me.

also why am i seeing some flaming up top? TC is only asking for some help on the decision. answer the question and keep it clean. this isnt system wars.

Why would you not think about this before you bought it in the first place? Would have saved you the trouble of asking. If there was nothing that interested you in the PS3, then why did you buy it?

You're new so maybe you missed the rules. You're really not supposed to bring up discussions about the Xbox in this forum or the PS3 in the Xbox forum...if you want to compare the systems that's what system wars is for.

That being said...If you don't find a use for a system then sell it. However unless you really need the money selling any current gen system is a bad idea. More than likely something will come out that you want to play at a later date on that system. It's not costing you anything for the system to just sit there and wait.

You feel lonely playing PS3. Online is free so make some on-line gaming pals. Or buy an extra controller and invite you reallife friends over to play Playstation 3.

SP - ps3, as it has many great exclusives with great SP, and the online quality isnt as great as 360 (especially with friends)

controller - i thought the 360 has a much beter controller lol, but i use both anyway im not really picky.

you my friend are the first person i see that bought a ps3 for its online. usually people buy it for its exclusives and great SP. way i see it whatever great SP game on the 360 you can get on the ps3, and more.

You barely play your 360 too, why pick PS3?

Here's a simple reason: you're not going to able to sell it for anywhere near what you paid for it.

lol dude i know YOU hate MP, but what i stated was what I think about the xbox. yes you gotta pay, but its still slightly better quality, and you gotta admit its so much easier and better for playing with friends. still i dont usually have live cause i dont like paying for it. what i dont like about the ps3 controller is how the armgrips are too small, and the R2/L2 triggers are so "mushy", not that good for shooters. my hands are fairly big so the 360 controller is more comfortable for me (yes i still agree its bulky). yes to each there own i guess.

The guy clearly came in here with the sole intention of trolling, and he obviously never was a part of the PS community to begin with. If other people want to call him out for it by saying he's a d-bag, I think they're more than justified.

almossbb- far as the 360's online community being better i wouldn't know as i'm not into mp, nor do i ever take part in it.. as for controllers, i can see your point on the grips being too small, especially if ya got bigger hands or what not.. i think what throws most on the 360 controller is the analog stick being where the keypad should be, it takes some getting used to, almost every genra of games except fighters are now using analog stick as movement and if your an old school ps gamer it can seem awkward at first, although i do understand microsofts reason for it.

yea the gui and stuff is most boring on ps3 even more than wii..360 is probably the liviest one...the installs and updates also sucks..

anyway its all about the games...if you have no idea what to play then you were too impulsive buying it..

What are you talking about? PS3 has quite a bit more singleplayer experiences than the 360. Basicallly you are saying you hate the majority of Sony's first party games. Your loss.

true that, oyu need to actually try the online MP on both to decide. the analog position was very awkward for me, but i got used to it. i can switch from ps3 to 360 very easily now cause im used to both controllers.
