Reasons to buy a PS3:

PS3 is the best value in gaming. It comes with everything you need included. HDMI, Blu-ray, free online, cheap to upgrade with non-proprietary parts, etc.

I also think it has the best line up of upcoming games and the biggest library of classics (many of which can be found for less than $10-20 now) because it can play older Playstation games.

dont have one yet, but:

awesome exclusives like mgs 4, warhawk, lair,heavenly sword, uncharted: drake's fortune, and more.

free online and HOME that is coming out soon, making ur own avatar, buying ur own house, inviting ur friends over to ur house, and making new friends! plus the awesome arcade games, pool table, and bowling u can play.

motion sensing controllers, and hopefully new controllers that also have rumble.

doesn't overheat like the 360, and the console looks cooler than the wii imo.

if u have old ps2 games u can play 99% of em all if u buy the 60 GB version.

amazing graphics and all games can be played with 720p and 5.1 surround sound.

HDMI cables can be found online for $4-6 and you are making a big deal out of it. Give me a break.
