Ok, I was exiting NHL 11 to return to the PS3 main menu and my system froze up. After turning it off, the system stated it was rebuilding the hard drive. Once it was done, I was able to play my PS3 again and no data was erased. Has this happend to any of you before? Is this a concern?

Ohh.. must be little dwarfs in your PS3 - to be able to re-build it :P I havnt had this happen to me, but sounds scary if does come up. You had no data loss at all? odd. Maybe when the game crashed, it left some temp files that the PS3 had to clean up or something?
