On one website I saw a 32" Sharp Aquos for $1300. It is 1080p and pretty sure it has two HDMI and a high contrast ratio. That might be the one you saw yesterday.

With the clouding issues on the XBR and V2500, banding issues on the Sharps, and overall poor PQ on last years Sammy LCDs, most LCD buyers were getting rather worried. I recently did a quick calibration Sammy's new LN-T4666F, and got some great results. Just thought a lot of people would like to hear some good news. These results were obtained very quickly, and can obviously be honed in a little, but they are better results than what you will find from the guys who write AV mags.

Here is the initial RGB

Sorry that some of the screens are scrunched, I wanted to make sure it all fit on the screen to avoid scrolling. I have originals if anyone is that interested.

Also wanted to note that I should be getting my hands on Sammy's 71&81 series to test within a day of their release.

Try costco man, if it breaks, you can take it back even if it's like 4 years old. Also, when the price drops on that particular TV you bought say like in 6months, you take your receipt in and get the price difference no questions asked. Now that you can't beat with a sledgehammer...I Bought a 56" 1080p TV for $1599. The same day I bought mines, 4 others walked out with the exact same set because the price was unbeatable...

Best Buy and Circuit City have 12 month no payment plans. I still really recommend the LN-T4065/66 for your needs. It will blow away a cheap DLP or cheap 1080p lcd.

Yeah cuz I would like for you to walk in to BB or CC 6 months, hell even a year down the road and ask for a price differential on you TV. You might get kicked out by the Security guard who couldn't make it as a police man. The have 65" plasmas too but those were like 4 g's but still that price dirrence makes the difference. Also add to the fact that I have the executive member card so I get 2% back (but no more than 500 bucks) on all the purchases I made for that year and at the end off the year I'll be getting some of my money back that made on that TV as well as groceries lol...

Im unsure why you want to go with Costco. Best Buy and CC with price match Costco, and Costco no longer has their great return policy they became famous for. You will also be stuck with a lower end selection at Costco.

Price match fine but again you won't have to purchase that extended warranty plan which will run you a few peenies on top of the BIG purchase you just made...

My last bit of advice: Just do alot of reasearch on the sets you have and mind, do an avg. and go with your gut feeling. Good luck...

I dont see why you wouldnt jump on the set I recently calibrated and posted the results on the first page of this thread. I don't think you are going to be able to find better results. What exactly are you looking for if it is not stellar performance.
