Mass Effect and MAG were my last two.. very happy with both. What games have you picked lately?

Flow for Free... Ehh, at least it was free.
Dead Space- All right for twenty bucks, but the fact that Isaac doesn't talk through out the whole game pisses me off. This made me not really care whether or not he is ripped to shreds by Necromorphs or not. Plus, the story is mainly like, "Isaac, go do this and then we can leave. Great job Isaac! Crap! Something else just went wrong, go fix that now!" I also got bored of the repetitive environments, despite the great graphics.
For Christmas I got DJ Hero, Rock band Beatles, MLB 09 The Show, and Assassin's Creed 2
DJ Hero is lots of fun for a bit, but gets old soon, so I can only play for like an hour at a time.
Beatles Rock Band is great. I love it, and I had no idea that I loved the Beatles so much.
MLB 09 the Show has so many different game modes it is overwhelming. It is a pretty hard game and the baserunning for Road to the Show is TERRIBLE. All in all though, it is an amazing game.
Assassin's Creed 2 ruined a pair of boxers for me. Nuff Said.
Back in October (if this is still recent) I got Batman AA, R&C ACIT, and Fifa 10
Batman AA was sick, but not much replay value. Lent it to a friend and he loves it.
R&C was cool. Not as good as it used to be like in Up Your Arsenal, but still tons of fun.
Fifa 10 is probably the best sports game I have ever played. Overwhelming number of game modes, butthey are awesome, including the online.
I got Uncharted 2 on the 3rd day after release in September.
Incredible game. Best graphics anywhere, extremely well told story (big points in my book) and solid gameplay. Well deserving of its 50+ GOTYs.

I love the Beatles also :PI managed to pick up 4 games last week for under $100 wahoo! I got:
Dragon Age: Origins. Great game, very long and keeps you interested from beginning to end. My copy also came with the stone prisoner DLC which the previous owner never used so I scored there.
Dragon Ball Raging Blast. Alright game, the fighting is very fast paced and fun but there are some reeeeeeally bad camera angles at times.
Drill Dozer (GBA). In my opinion it's only good on one playthrough and then you get bored with it.
Legend of Zelda: the Twilight Princess (GC version). Everyone knows Zelda games are just win.
White Knight Chronicles and Star Ocean 4 and I'm very happy with both. WKC could've been better if the combat wasn't so slow, but they were both wise investments. They're fairly long games so they'll last me a while and WKC has online multiplayer which will keep me playing for a bit longer after I finish the single player story.
Before those two I bought Tales of the Abyss not too long ago. A gem on the PS2 that I missed out on. I'm so glad I bought it, I've been playing it for a few months and I still haven't beaten it since it's a very long game. (I have 50 something hours clocked into it, but I think I'm almost done.) I love long games.
Are there major improve-ments in the ps3 verison? I played the other verison and wondering is it worth picking up.White Knight Chronicles and Star Ocean and I'm very happy with both. I haven't played the original version on the 360 so I couldn't tell you if there are any noticeable improvements. I did read that theyadded the original Japanese dubs with English subtitles for those Japaneseophiles. But that means nothing to me because I prefer to listen the English dubs because I like it when the characters speak a language I understand.
[QUOTE="GeoffZak"]Are there major improve-ments in the ps3 verison? I played the other verison and wondering is it worth picking up. The only difference between the 2 versions is the addition of dual-audio/subs and you can switch between anime and CGI portraits and menus. Other than that they're identical. I also played the 360 version and was interested in this but there's not nearly enough to warrant another $60 purchase.White Knight Chronicles and Star Ocean and I'm very happy with both. God of War Collection ($25): Wow, I can't believe what I was missing out on! Awesome gameplay, awesome story. The puzzles are very rewarding and it's instantly in my top ten all-time favorite games. One of the advantages of waiting so long to play it is I got them for cheap, and have to finish both of them before I can even think of buying God of War 3...at which point, I'll probably be able to get it for at most $45.
Call of Duty: Modern Warefare: I bought this a long time ago, and as soon as I started the campaign mode my ps3 broke. I just got it fixed, after it laying dormant for around 6-8 months. So, I consider this a new game. I am digging the campaign, it's very well done. Graphics are among the best I've ever played. And the online multiplayer increases it's value ten-fold.
Resistance: Fall of Man ($10): I just played this for the first time last night with some friends. We only did the Co-Op Campaign because once we started, we couldn't stop! The weapons are awesome (there's a fireball gun reminiscent of Contra). The alternate history story is really well done. And it is tons of fun to blast the Chimera. I would have started the single player campaign, but I know once I start I won't be able to finish! And I'm already in the middle of 2 other games.
BioShock ($10): Reserve judgment because I haven't even put it into the system yet.
Saints Row 2, I like it much more than GTA4. And Brutal Legend which i have to say i was expecting more out of it. but a fun game none the less.
