yup monoprice.com is the best for hdmi cables. quality gold plated 6ft cable for $15-20. NEVER buy cables from a retailer... they markup like crazy!

Just wondering is using HDMI that big of a difference compared to the hi def component cables? I really don't want to dish out $$$ for HDMI cables if it really won't make that big of a difference.

All HDMI cables below 6 feet are the same when it comes to delivering the quality of video/audio but once you get over 6 feet the quality tends to drop (in some cases a good bit). I try to always use the shortest cable that I possibly can in all my audio/video set-ups.

From what I've heard, you really can't go wrong with any of them. I just wouldn't buy the 6 dollar one on ebay.

Monoprice has good prices but I don't think I'd recommend them. I ordered an HDMI cable from them 10 days ago and it still hasn't arrived. I know that at least two days last week were a holiday but come on, it's already Thursday. Their site even says date shipped: November 19. I'd go with Amazon if I were you.

shipping companies dont usually work on weekends either so really you cant count 4 days for the 22,23,24 and 25 so really your cable has only been in transit for 6 days and depending on your shipping method which probably was standard, you wont get it until tomorrow or monday
