Dude I bought a blutooth one off ebay for 5 dollars about 2 years ago and it works great, the sound is great, people have said it sounds fine...I wouldn't go spending too much to be honest.

You can get these: EarForce PX5. They are 12$ over your budget, but I think they worth it.

buy sony PS3offical headset, in terms of voice quality, it's the best one for PS3, rest 3rd party headset are mostly very crappy on PSN...if you play COD, you can notice many ppl use poor quality 3rd party headset which only produces nosie. seriously sony should remove support of 3rd party headset.
