Yeah man, go play online or something. Online kicks ass, it's so addicting and I guarantee you'll get sucked back in.

Here's some advice to avoid burning-out on this game:

Fast Travel as much as possible.
A couple of my friends bought this game and burned out too. But neither of them used fast travel. They didn't want to because they didn't want to miss anything, but look wher that got them.
I had to come to the realization that fast travelling was the answer, especially after discovering Mexico.

Another thing that adds alot of life to this game is to just say "screw the story for now" and go trophy hunting.
There's some fun challenges in there to keep things fun and fresh. Kill all the buffalo. Kidnap a woman, hogtie her and put her on the tracks. Kill 18 Grizzly bears. Fun stuff.

Sell it then. Why would you waste time trying hard to get into a game when there are probably other games out there you want more? Personally I never sell games though.

i actually had a problem at first too. i didnt get into it right away but once u get passed the first 10 or so missions the game starts to get better, the story is great and theres plenty to do on the side but the story really kept it going for me. but another problem i nearly had and one that my friend also had was the missions at the end.i mean herding cattle and stuff after all you've accomplished felt like a ****ing insult. i nearly stopped playing altogether and my friend did completely. it does have a good conclusion but those last few missions almost turned me off entirely.

I had this problem and the solution I found was playing online; now I'm lvl 50 online and can't stop playing. RDR ftfw.

Yeah, the last few missions were very mundane on purpose. It really did drag down the overall feel of the game, but it made the ending a bit more tragic.

It's a slow moving epic story that you need to feel invested in to really appreciate. I don't think I'd like it if I took a couple of month break and then tried to start it up again. You forget the nuances and particulars of the characters. If you want to finish it, start over. If you don't care, I'm sure you can sell it for 15-20 bucks.

I don't know; everyone told me it was an absolutely incredible game...one of the best, etc... But I honestly haven't been that impressed with it so far. I mean, it's good, but it's not better than all of the games it beat out for GOTY. I just got to Mexico and it's like the game just hit a brick wall. I just lost interest.

I just starting it again, and still cant get back into it. I was on MP for a few but that was nothing. I was killed twice in like 5 mins and all i was doing was riding around and had no clue on to do it. I just think i might sell it since i cant back into this game what so ever. It might be a great game to some but for others like me its just so slow and boring.
