Red Dead Redemption button problem ?

Anyone else facing this problem. i have a Asian ps3 and all my games uptill now have worked perfectly. However with RDR when i play poker it says X to call and O to quit. Normally it should be O to call and X to quit but anyway the problem is that when i press X it says Do you want to quit poker and if i press O then nothing happens. I dont know how to call ?

Triangle wont do anything either.

thats why you never buy foreign systems, little things like this can make games unplayable. that game isnt even out in asia

am I misunderstanding you? i really dont get what youre saying. When i get into a game of poker , x is to place a bet, check, call. Square is to fold and O is to quit the game. jerkface96

sq - fold

o - quit

tri - nothing

His game:

So of course the obvious question.... have you tried square?

Tried the D pad. they arent working for that either. O is completely not there. X just quits it.

The shoulders buttons and the L3 R3 arent working either for that function

I have the same problem. The workaround is when the game asks if you want to quit poker just press X again to not quit and you'll call the bet. Annoying as hell though that you have to keep being asked if you want to quit poker whenever you just want to call the bet. I hope a patch comes out to address this minor issue.

UPDATE: I just confirmed on another PS3 forum that even having an R1 version on an Asian PS3 still shows the same X & O button bug. I guess I'm stuck with my R3 copy of the game. At least it isn't game-breaking.

it's a bug where the X button and O button is constantly mixing up. For example in start screen of the game where you need to press the X button to start the the, pressing X wont start the game at all. In the stores when you press X to exit the store, it will buy something. In mini games when pressing O button to raise your bet it wont do anything, then if you press X button it will raise your bet but it will quit the mini game as well.

I emailed ROCKSTAR and they answered me. So please all of you who got the same problem, please email ROCKSTAR so they could patch this soon. This is their reply:

We have to let ROCKSTAR know that there's a problem so they could patch this soon. For those who have the same problem please report it to Rockstar because it is bearable at first but if you advance on the game you'll notice that all the mini games have this problem which is deytroying the experience.

Does anyone have a region 1 copy of the game with a Japan or Asian PS3 who also having this problem? because I want to know if the cause of this was the Japan and Asian PS3's or region 3 of the game?. So anyone having a problem please let Rockstar know about it.

Yay Rockstar is already looking to fix the problem. Post your problem here in this site to hopefully Rockstar will resolve this matter fast.
