For those who have played the demo, Do you know if the final release of the game will be Exactly like the demo? Or is the demo just a "ruff draft" of the actually game.? The demo was fun, but it seems like its not yet, "pollished", and seems to be a little ruff around the edges...and it has lots of glitches..

Count on it.

These are the same guys behind Saint's Row 2, which despite being a fairly solid game, was absolutely bug-ridden.

They seem to have used the exact same formula with Red Faction: Guerilla, right down to the rag doll physics, controls, and motion capture. I'm pretty sure this demo is a good picture of what the final game will look like because developers never make any real radical changes to a game once the demo is released.

A few rendering fixes here and touch ups there, but they never change what you expect them to.

Short answer: Yes, this is most likely what the final game will look like.

I thought the game would have horrible graphics for what I saw, but then I played the demo and the visuals surprised me. The gameplay wasn't broken and the destructable environments look fantastic. Also, in the demo, the bit where you were on the back of the truck with the rocket launcher turret was so fun. I might get this game once it has been polished up.

Yeah, that was a downside to shooting. I don't think that the cover system worked well either.

I loved the demo! Mainly the destructible environments, but the gameplay kinda sucked. The cover system seemed like a throw in and the overall shooting was bad. However, I might rent it because I loved the destruction a lot and the explosions were badass, the game just needs some more polish.

i Agree, seemed the developers focused mainly on the destructible environments, and didn't bother with the shooting, and the cover system, its just really pathetic.

yeah definitely. the destructible environments were amazing and always very accurate but it seems like the rest of the game is fairly shallow. it seems entertaining but maybe they should of focused on the core gameplay.

I am 99% sure it's been confirmed that this is an 'early build'. I'm not sure how early, but judging from videos and articles I've seen throughout teh interwebs, this could be a few months old. I've seen a video where you can explode the remote detonated mines in mid air, which you can't in the demo, and I've seen videos of the cover system being much more sticker. I reckon the full games gonna be awesome. On my list, it's basically Red Faction > InFamous > Prototype

I don't think the graphics were bad by any means. There were some cruddy textures, but characters looked good, the world was huge and it ran smoothly.

I liked the destructible environments, it's nice to be able to break the window between you and your objective.

you can change the crouch controls to 'toggle' in the controls menu.
