I've been wondering myself.. After some research, for the most part Red Faction Guerilla is mainly about destruction and blowing up things. Other than that, is beyond me.

Funny, I just got it for PS3 not two weeks ago.

I'm not far into it but it can be pretty fun. It's kinda like a better Mercenaries 2 + Sledgehammer.

I paid $13 dollars for it and I think I'd pay up to $20 for a game like this. Depends on what kind of genre you like.

Depends. It's the kind of game you will play a bit by bit, while playing something more story-focused. This is what i am doing. At the moment it's crazily cheap, so absolutely worth it. Everything about it is satisfying, but the game design is hub like, completing missions in order to liberate one sector after the other, and in the end the whole of Mars. But there is some variety like, destroying important building which do not affect the main mission, or helping out on battles, or freeing prisoners etc.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I play bit by bit too. At first I didnt like but......now it's kind of fun. It's worth the 10 bucks I paid for it.
