I loved the first Red Faction game on PS2. The second one wasn't so hot. But i still think Volition's got a lot of potential as a developer and Guerrilla really looks great. Supposedly they're taking a more open approach to level design, rather than the linear levels of traditional shooters. And then there's the geo-mod, of course. There was an article awhile back talking about how the level designers actually had to learn a bit of real architecture for this game, because their physics engine was so accurate, if they built the structures wrong, when they'd test the game, the buildings would actually collapse. Hopefully this game lives up to its potential.
