re-installing games?

So, I was having troubles with a game, freezing over, and over in the same spot, the disc is brand new. So I was thinking there may have been installation problems so I decided to reinstall it... I uninstalled it, and cannot find any option to reinstall, including the "Tringle" Menuand the game doesnt automaticaly prompt to install as other games do, and this game did to begin with, so does anybody know how to manually install a game? Im stumped, and starting to get frusterated!

Maybe try highlighting the game and hitting triangle and see if there's an install option. I've never had to do this before so I'm not entirely sure but that'd be the first place I'd look. If you've already checked there then I'm out of ideas.

To reinstall the game, just put your disc in and play the game and it should automatically do it by itself.

Usually, games with smaller or minor data (I would assume) install in the background. I have a couple of games that don't issue a prompt, but still installs.

If you've deleted the game data, let the game reinstall (it would automatically). If it still freezes and the game is "brand new" as you've said, take it back to the store and get it relaced. It might just be a defective disk. Especially if it's just freezing only at one point.

if you would have read the post you would have seen that I already stated that none of these methods worked... Not trying to be a smart ass, but Im a little frusterated about this, and did clearly state that none of these options worked, please I need some help...

I guess Ill just get a new copy, but even then how will I install it (since the normal methods dont work)?

OK, so I updated, and everything works fine... Except Im not earning my trophies, any idea why? there popping up in game as I complete tasks, but Im not actually getting the tropies!

The Uncharted trophies were added in a patch after release, have you got that patch?
