Release Date GOD OF WAR 3 Confirmed

It was only a paragraph so:

"We were recently able to get confirmation for the release of God of War 3. After speaking to the developers at the Video Game Awards, they confirmed with us, that the long assumed date of 2009. The title will support 1080p graphics and will have both sixaxis and rumble support. Unfortunately, we have little more info that we care share with you at this date; however, please check back for updates, as new information comes in."

i thought 2008 was looking good with the number of games ... but

FFXIII and versus + this in 09...

Thats more than 10 BIG Exclusives in 08 alone not to mention 09, and i heard analyst predict the ps3 will be trailing for 5 more yrs, well i guess they're wrong...BIG TIME!

if a game is 1080p does it automatically allow for 720p? my tv is only 720p/1080ihookd_on_heroes

I'm cool with it though, I haven't even picked up God of War 2 yet. Besides, 2008 is so jam packed as it is, not to mention there will be lots of games to come out that we haven't even heard of yet. If it takes until 2009 to continue on with the quality of the God of War series for it's debut on the Playstation 3, I'm down with that.

God Of War III is going to be the GREATEST action game of 09 !

GOW3 will be awesome and a graphical and gameplay showcase for the PS3, I can't wait to play the final chapter of Kratos. GOW2's ending left me wanting MORE, I so hope they release a trailer in 08 maybe E3.

i still hav yet to finish Gow2, i was more than half way done. But yeh i hope they release a trailer soon, E3 is too far i want it earlier.

....reminds me of how good lair looked before it came out...:P which reminds me...i reeeealllly want a good remote play game to come out...

The God of War franchise has released in late Q1.
