Remastering Playstation 2 Games for the PS3

I know that God of War 1 & 2 are coming out in November for the PS3 (I believe it`s November), but has there been any other announcements of games coming out either through the PS Store or in disc form?

Im sure there will be other games. The can remaster an old game and make money off it.. its especially good in helping to hype a games sequel like they did with God of War.Rattlesnake_8

Exactly. I was kind-of-hoping they would be hyping Final Fantasy 13 with a Final Fantasy X remastering :P

Well the 360 started releasing Xbox games via their online store, and it started pretty slowly (I mean it was at the same 6 games for like 4-5 months at least), so perhaps the same thing is happening here? I really don`t know, I just want to be able to play Final Fantasy X, and wouldn`t mind some other classic PS2 Games ...BlinDShoT95

Although I'd probably prefer getting some PS1 titles remastered like MGS1, Tekken 3, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night etc.

But I'd love to see Ratchet and Clank 1-3 and Deadlocked with the RnC: Future graphics/engine as all 4 in one retail box-set with 4 different discs meaning a full trophy set for each one. Although if they do remake a game then they better add a LOT of new content, I've 100% every one of those games and I'd like to do something new too, they could add Online Multiplayer, New Weapons, New Side Quests, New Planets etc.

As some other people have said, there is talk about an ICO + SotC Compilation being done for the PS3 at some point.
