It's what I expected and nothing more. Graphics are really nice and if your into straight fighting combat games (like the rest of the series) then you'll like this game. I haven't played to much of it as of yet but from just playing around for 30mins it is a decent game. I also didn't get a manual with it so I don't know a lot of the moves yet. I really don't see this as a game with a lot of replay value in it but that's just me. I'd give it a 7/10.

The game should have online gameplay. That's where the replay value would be. I love VF4 Evo, so I'm either going to pick it up when I get a PS3 or if it's just as good maybe for my Xbox 360.

I agree a half hour is a bit short...but maybe there really is that little to do in the game?  I don't know, I haven't played it.

The PS3 blows. Look at all the reviews of the games in your top 10 on gamespot. Nothing is above 9.0. Come back from the darkside and join us in the light of Xbox 360. We have so many good games coming out. Even the Wii is kicking your ass and that's just sad.swift22436

I actually went out and bought VF5 today. I must say, just on the surface, it's a pretty tough game to get into. But from just the first 30 minutes, I can see some massive potential later in my gaming once I start getting the move list down more to memory and combo's. But I'm only playing right now on a SDTV. Tomorrow I'll have my 37' LCD Widescreen tv so I'll really get to see what the game looks like. It's a lot of fun. I'd give this game 9/10 because of the replay value, fun factor, and how great the game looks.

PS. I'm a die hard Tekken fan and finally, I get to have a good quality VF game at home to play. Tekken: DR tomorrow! Wooooot!

I think the game is better than a 7, somewhere in the 8.7-8.9 cattegory, but that's entirely one's opinion. I might agree on that replay value however. though i'm having fun with it now it will get old eventually (It's not like i play it hardcore non-stop nor do i do that ever do that with any game, but games still get overplayed) and, honestly, i don't see my self coming back to it, a lot at least.

i played the mess outta VF4 and VF4 evo, so i thought i might have already beaten this game too, you know, feel old before i even got it. Not true at all. I bit the bullet and paid 60$ and i couldnt be happier. The game is amazing and the two new characters are awesome. Quest mode takes forever, just trying to unlock everything and master each character takes years!

The replay value all depends if you ae a kid and have your friends over to play. For most adults that doesn't exist so playing online is the best option

Quest mode is awesome. You get to choose from 7 different arcades with different difficulties to fight in and rank up. You will get to fight in some tournaments for Items or Gold. You could buy items to customise your character. It's really fun. I play this game hours a day.:P
