Just had my launch 60gig die tonight... I'm gonna call Sony tomorrow so idk yet.. ireally hope they give me a 60gig back...americahellyeah
I am sorry for your loss, I was just reading about it. They better replace it with another 60 gig. I didn't buy a $600 PS3 to have it replaced by the new cheaper crap versions.

My 60gig launch HDD was defective, I rang Sony up. They didn't even ask for my warranty they just said send it in. What happens when they send it back to you is. Once they receive yours and verify that is is defective they send you a ps3 that someone else has sent in and has been fixed, while they fix yours then they'll send yours to someone else who has a defective one once they fix yours.
