I disagree, all in all its a pretty shallow "rpg" For me it would either fight night or Blitz: The League 2 those ones always et pulled out when mates are around.how anyone hasnt sed oblivion?!
40 plus hours of main story line, COUNTLESS side quests and guilds, theres literally ALWAYS something new to do in that game

SHALLOW?! are you kidding?! go through any and ALL the quests of all the guilds, then go through all hte quests of the ppl in the village, make a character n max out EACH character trait and skill with all the races n all that crap, beat the MAIN STORYLINE.....in terms of replay value, trying to complete, EVERY. SINGLE. QUEST. and SIDE MISSION, is an exercise in futility.
ill be playing that game forever

Thats fine, but all the quests are the same. After about 30 hours I felt like im doing the same thing in the same place, all the time. money becomes useless and theres not that much to do. Arcanum does a way better huge open rpg than oblivion. Its a great start, but there are lots of holes that need filling.MGS4. The MGS series has always had a high replay level, and MGS4 follows suit.
I like playing thorugh with different sets of weapons, or going about things differently, like going silently and stealthy, or going berserk with machines guns or sniping my way to victory with high powered rifles. Depending on how you play and the difficulty you play on, MGS4 is always fun and interesting.
Valkyria Chronicles has great replay value as well. After finishing the game and starting again, you can replay any mission, letting you ty different strategies to see if you can get the best rank.
Replay value is when the game is worth playing it again from the beginning. So multiplayer online content has nothing to do with replay value of the game.
IMO replay value depends on whether you like the game or not. Majority said that Star Wars TFU doesn't have a replay value but I liked it, so I played it again after beating it.
I find games with addictive multiplayer tend to have the most staying power. I never ended up beating COD4's campaign, but still clocked as many hours in that as I did with, say, LittleBigPlanet (which I played long enough to get the Platinum trophy in, just as a gauge for how long I played it).
With massive amounts of DLC, leaderboards, etc. Rock Band 2 has provided me with a great many hours (as Rock Band 1 did, and as the Guitar Hero series did before Activision ruined it), though I imagine if you're not into music as much as I am (which is... a considerable amount), that you'd probably not be very much into it.
Then there's game series like GTA or Half Life 2 that I could play over and over, or games like Katamari that I'll be playing until the disc turns to dust, or games like Lumines that just lend themselves to replaying just by their arcade-style nature.
