repurchase of a ps3

i bought a 60gb ps3 at launch but i sold it to my friend, the reason i sold it was because i wasnt getting any use and mlb the show 2007 was complete garbage online. there was so much lag it was depressing. well anyways the time is coming again where the show will be coming out and a few titles are coming out that i would like to purchase but i would just like to know if the online play has improved.

Warhawk has ironed out all the kinks and is absolutely awesome online.

I know what you're saying about The Show, and I actually stopped playing online because of it. I haven't checked back in months, so I'm not sure if it has improved. If it hasn't, we're only 4-5 months away from the release of MLB 08, which I'm sure will be improved in many different respects.
