RE:Raccoon City ?

Who's getting it? Even though we know it "WON'T" be survival horror I think it still will be a solid game. In a way it makes sense that this particular chapter should be a shooter considering it takes place right after the outbreak and you are playing as an Umbrella employee. Thoughts ?

I won't be interested in a Resident Evil game until they pur Claire back in. At least not interested enough to buy it for full price.

It has an interesting theory behind it for sure.

I wont get it at full price and I'll wait for reviews.

There are issues though:

1) Its SlantSix that working on it and we know how they delivered Socom Confrontation broken...Too many large updates and the game's DLC took ages.

2) RE5 was not great but coming back to Racoon City is nice, I'm not sure how big the maps will be for multiplayer and weather its linear or not.

I'll probably get it because some of my friends are. If anything, it should be a fun co op experience. I doubt there will be any single player appeal though.

That's kinda my main reason for getting it...the co-op.

I haven't really been wowed by anything I've seen so far. It's gonna have to pass below the $20 mark before I pick it up. ResEvil has really lost it's way.

Agreed, RE4 was the last great thing to the series. The horror of the first 3 RE Games was amazing.

RE5 didnt do anything new, the character movement needed to be scraped and changed. and we need real zombies lol

Depends. If I find out there's a mission where you're forced to kill Claire Redfield, f*** that game and everyone who bought it. If not, then yes because it says Resident Evil and I'm a tool.

after seeing the latest set of trailers with both sets of characters and the heroes modes.....its getting better and better.

plus for co-op it should be pretty tight!

Day 1 buy for me. My friends and I are going to have some good old fashioned fun playing this one. Also, I think Resident Evil 5 is one of the most fun games I've ever played :D I've played through that game probably 10 times now.

I'll skip it. After playing Resident Evil 4 and 5, it just doesn't appeal to me. I'll get Resident Evil 6 instead later this year!

if it wasn't so mp based it'd atleast be a cool idea, i luv 3rd person shooters and getting behind the gun of an umbrella agent could be awesome if it were done correctly..
