Resident Evil 2 Released in 2007....Wait.... What?!!!

I was looking at a magzine that was made based on Zombie gmaes and zombies in general. (Its a special issue thing). Anyways they has a RE timeline and on the timeline it said that in 2007 RE 2 was released on the PSP?! I know Japan got the first one in directors cut on the PSN but did they also get RE 2?! OR it this just false info?! (I will go look for that magazine again and see exactly what it's called).

RE2 was released on PSN in Japan in late 2007. RE3 has also been released on PSN in Japan.
